Every year, Leah's Front Line participates in the GREAT STRIDES walk.  GREAT STRIDES is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fundraising event.  We believe that supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most strategic ways we can fight for a cure for this disease.  Great Strides is the main event that we focus our efforts on each year.  Please consider joining us!  We can't do this alone!

The Joliet GREAT STRIDES walk will be on SATURDAY, MAY 11 at Pilcher Park, Joliet.  The 5K walk begins at 10:00am with a picnic lunch following.  This is a family-friendly event!  To register, find the Joliet/Bourbonnais walk and sign up as a walker who is part of a team, and select Leah's Front Line from the drop down list!

Leah's Front Line - WALKER RAFFLE!!

Check this out!!  Register to walk in GREAT STRIDES with our team, help us raise money to support vital CF research, and get entered in our special RAFFLE just for our walk team! 

We have been given two fantastic prizes from the Joliet Park District that YOU can win in our WALKER RAFFLE!  We will be drawing names of the winners on Saturday, May 11 at the GREAT STRIDES walk!  The prizes include:

Here is how you can earn RAFFLE ENTRIES as a walker on our team:
  • If you raise $200 towards your GREAT STRIDES goal, you receive 1 raffle entry.
  • If you raise $200 towards your GREAT STRIDES goal AND are registered on or before our Kick-Off Event - Receive 3 raffle entries.
  • If you raise $200 towards your GREAT STRIDES goal AND are registered on or before our Kick-Off Event AND you attend our Kick-Off Event, you receive 5 raffle entries.
  • For each additional $50 you raise over $200, you receive 1 raffle entry.

Please note: Only one prize can be won per walker.  If your name is drawn twice, you may pick which prize you would like of the two options.  But the drawing will continue until another name is selected.   Any questions... just give us a holler!
