Volunteer at the Chicagoland Speedway
... and raise money for the CFF!
We are looking for VOLUNTEERS!! We have the opportunity to work different events at the Chicagoland Speedway this summer. Each volunteer will be paid $9 per hour worked. All of the money we earn will be paid directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Our team participated in this opportunity last year and all our volunteers had a really good time! This year, we have been given additional volunteers slots reserved for CFF volunteers. We are inviting other CF teams in our area to join us. Please indicate which team you are connected with so the money you raise can be designated in honor of your special CF person.
Volunteer slots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All volunteers must be 18 years old. Volunteers will be asked to either attend a training session at the track (approximately 1 hour long - you will get "paid" for attending) or review online training materials (approximately 15 minutes to read). You will be provided with a track T-shirt. All workers should wear either khaki or black pants and comfortable shoes - no flip flops. Volunteers need to be comfortable being on their feet as the work requires walking and standing for most of the time.
Job duties include: Providing great customer service, being friendly, giving out information, checking for proper credentials, directing to right area, suite check-in, suite host, etc.
